ELKHORN, Wis. – Lakeland Builders Association (LBA), a non-profit professional trade organization serving the building industry in and around the Southeast Wisconsin area announced that Jeff Burg, Owner and President of JFK Design-Build Inc. in Oconomowoc, Wisconsin as their Builder of the Year.
With over 35 years of experience in the construction industry, Jeff started his career with JFK Builders in 1979 as a summer helper and joined the union 4 years later as an apprentice, beginning his carpentry career upon graduating high school. After 9 years of managing and constructing multi-family and single-family homes while still under the umbrella of JFK Builders, Jeff purchased the general contracting division from his father Jim, and officially formed JFK Design-Build. LLC.
Jeff is a proud member of the Milwaukee Metropolitan Builders Association (MBA) and LBA being on the Parade of Homes selection committee for the former and being named 2019 President of the latter. As part of MBA, he has won numerous awards which include the parade of homes Grand Award in “landscaping,” “interior design” and “overall”. He was also recognized as MBA’s Associate Choice Award winner in 2006 and 2008.
Jeff is very honored and privileged to win LBA’s Builder of the Year as he has been passionate about the construction industry all his life. He is excited for what 2019 and the future holds for building in the Southeast Wisconsin area.
