ELKHORN, Wis. – Lakeland Builders Association (LBA), a non-profit professional trade organization serving the building industry in and around the Southeast Wisconsin area installed Jeff Burg, President and Owner of JFK Design Build Inc. in Oconomowoc, Wisconsin as their 2019 President. Jeff will be taking over from Dave Molenda who finished his one-year term.

“The office of president is one that carries with it the highest honor as well as the highest responsibility,” said Burg.

Lakeland Builders Association has a board of directors composing of notable area builders, contractors and businesspeople. They are responsible of planning LBA’s biggest events including the Home Improvement expo in the winter and the Parade of Homes in July/August. They also work alongside the home building industry engaging in education and philanthropy, providing members with exclusive access to resources.

With over 35 years of experience in the construction industry, Jeff started his career with JFK Builders in 1979 as a summer helper and joined the union 4 years later as an apprentice, beginning his carpentry career upon graduating high-school. 9 years later, Jeff purchased the general contracting division from his father, officially forming JFK Design-Build, LLC.

For 2018, Jeff was honored by Lakeland Builders Association as their 2018 Builder of the Year. Along with the award, Jeff is honored to be named 2019 President of LBA as the construction and home-building industry has been his passion all his life.
