Jeff Burg

OWNER & PRESIDENT

Jeff has been in the construction industry for over 44 years, starting his career as a summer helper for rough carpenters at age 14. He gained the experience and knowledge needed to become a foreman and eventually turned his attention to Finish Carpentry, attaining his Union Carpenters license along the way. From leading finish carpentry crews, Jeff moved to project management of building multifamily and custom single-family homes in 1991. In 2003, Jeff purchased the general contracting division from JFK Builders and officially formed JFK Design Build and has been building and remodeling custom family homes for over 33 years.

JFK Design Build has continued to thrive and specialize in the design and construction of single-family homes, custom remodeling, and multi-family condominium projects.

Jeff is part of the Lakeland Builders Association (LBA) and has won numerous awards which include winning the Parade of Homes Grand Award in “Overall Design, Interior Design”, and “Landscaping” in the Cobblestone Woods subdivision when a member of the Metropolitan Builders association. Jeff was also honored to be recognized with the Metropolitan Builders Association’s Associate Choice Award in 2006 & 2008. Jeff’s most recent involvement with the LBA has been as President, President Elect, and now serves on the board. Jeff was also named the Lakeland Builders Association “Builder of the year” in 2018 & 2019.
